How long should a YouTube script be?
A rough planning rule: spoken narration runs at about 130–160 words per minute, depending on voice and pacing. This is a widely used rule of thumb, not a TubeChef measurement. So:

- a 60-minute documentary needs roughly 8,000–9,500 words.
