How Synthesia pricing works (25 Oct 2026)
Every plan includes 10 minutes of video a month, and paid plans add credits on top. Synthesia's FAQ says Starter adds roughly 12 more minutes of typical video a month (about 22 minutes in total). A typical finished minute uses about 100 credits, more if the avatar is on screen throughout. Unused minutes don't roll over, and you can't pay per video. Annual billing is cheaper, but the page shows conflicting yearly figures for Starter, so check the plan card before you buy.
What this means for YouTube: at roughly 22 minutes a month on Starter, a weekly 10-minute upload already needs more credits. Synthesia is priced for business video volumes, not daily faceless uploads.
